What to Expect
A week of fun and friendship as campers explore a wide variety of sports, games, and activities in a safe environment that instills uplifting values.
Volunteers Needed
-
These families host the senior counselors who will be running the camp. Requirements for a host family include a bed for each counselors they host, access to a bathroom, and dinners for most (but not all) nights the week of camp.
-
These volunteers will help campers and their families to check in and out on each day of the camp. This is a wonderful opportunity to greet, welcome, and get to know families from our community as they come to our church for this camp.
-
These volunteers will coordinate and prepare breakfasts and lunches for the senior and junior counselors only (campers bring their own lunches). Costs will be covered by CRPC, we just need loving and capable hands to make the meals.
-
Are you able to teach small groups of children arts, crafts, or science? This is the role for you! Each day there will be opportunities for the campers to take a break from the more physical activities of sports, and we need your help to make that happen! Please contact T.J. Schley or Kate Cohee with what activity you would like to run.
-
Bible Teachers do just that—teach our daily Bible lesson. This is a ripe opportunity for us to engage our community with the gospel as they literally come to us. Curriculum will be provided.
-
Junior Counselors are volunteers (normally, but not exclusively high school age students) who assist the senior counselors with running the camp. This includes setting up and running games and activities and camper management among other duties. Junior Counselors must register via the SB2W website here.
