Calvary Reformed Presbyterian Church exists to engage all people of Hampton Roads with the truth of Jesus Christ through a loving community.

So we seek to obey Jesus' Great Commission to His church in the place where He has placed us as we:

Go: Engaging all people of Hampton Roads, no matter their background, race, knowledge, or status. We seek to minister to both the convinced and unconvinced.

Teach: The truth of Jesus Christ, which never falters or fails, is the power of salvation for all who believe. We are committed to making the Gospel known to all who will listen.

Baptize: The church is to be a loving community, marked out by baptism, witnessing to the person and work of Jesus Christ. We participate in His work of growing His Church.

So what are we doing to accomplish this ministry vision?

We are disciples of Jesus making disciples by worshipping, growing, and serving together in Him.

This mission reflects certain core values we hold as a particular church:

Worship: All people were created to glorify and enjoy God forever. Whether assembled as a congregation, gathered into small groups and families, or privately as individuals, Calvary is dedicated to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ in all that we are and all that we do.

Grow: We are called to grow up into the likeness of Christ, our Lord and Savior, in our thoughts, words, and deeds. We have a real hope that Jesus changes people and communities as the Spirit works through the means of grace, whether formally through the elders or informally as members minister to others.

Serve: We seek to love God and neighbor generously and sacrificially because God loves us first in Christ. We share the love of God within our congregation and out in our community as we serve selflessly in word and deed.

As we devote ourselves to these things, we aspire in particular to be a community committed to:

Prayer: We can follow the Lord as His disciples only with His help. We look to Jesus to equip us to worship, grow, and serve together in Him.

Investing in People: Jesus has called us to make disciples of all nations, for His aim is the hearts of people. We seek to share that priority by investing in people over programs, whether we are reaching out to non-Christians or developing leaders in the church.

Multiplying the Church: Jesus is growing His church, and we long to participate in that work as our members share the Good News with others. We want the Lord to grow His church by adding to our number and establishing new congregations through us.
