Welcome to Calvary!

Your first visit to Calvary can be a little overwhelming... Where do you go? What time do the services start? Where should you take your children? We have provided some information about what to expect below so that your first Sunday morning visit will be an encouraging one. If you want to try out one of our small groups or other activities for your first visit, contact us so that we can help you get connected.

Our congregational worship service begins a little early on Sunday mornings at 9:30. Our worship style is blended, incorporating both ancient and modern elements. We sing psalms, hymns, and other worship songs. We confess our faith in creeds and prayer. We listen to the preaching of the word. On the first and third Sundays of the month, we celebrate the Lord's Supper.

After worship, we encourage fellowship with coffee and tea served in the fellowship hall.

At 11:15am, we start Sunday School for children and adults. Children and youth are grouped by ages. College students and adults are invited to join one of several classes offered each quater. We try to cover a variety of topics each quarter, from church history to books of the Bible, from how to pray to the basics of the faith. Find a subject that interests you!

CARE Badge

We have been blessed with many children at Calvary! We take every precaution to take good care of your children, so our ministries are staffed by volunteers who have undergone extensive CARE training and background checks. While we encourage children to attend worship with you, a nursery for younger children is available during the regular services. After church, elementary-aged children gather in Modular 1 for snacks and singing before being dismissed to their own Sunday School classes. Locator maps for children's classes are posted by the water fountains in the Commons area and by the church office.

All ministry volunteers will be wearing CARE badges. If your children have any allergies or special needs, please make them known to a ministry volunteer.
