Dear Church Family Members and Visitors,
Once again it is time to
begin planning for our annual Labor Day Weekend Retreat at the Jamestown 4-H Center. The weekend is designed
to build up the church body through instruction, fellowship, and a variety of
fun family activities. The topic for the sessions is “Self Denial” and the
speakers will be those from among CRPC.
Nursery will be provided during the three adult instruction sessions and
worship. There will be instruction and
crafts available for children, ages two through 6th grade during the
sessions.
Please sign up early on the sign-up sheet in the
Commons. It is very important, from a logistical standpoint, that we obtain an accurate count, no later than August 20th, since the camp is supplying meals. Also, submit your registration form and check
to the box in the Commons, on
or before August 26, or mail it to Mark Kroll before August 31.
Look for an
informational brochure in mid-August.
Bring this with you to the
retreat.
It will contain
maps, items to bring, room assignments (for those of you who are staying
overnight), schedule of events, and meal menus.
Many hands make for an
orderly and restful retreat. You may enjoy the privilege of being asked to contribute your talents in some
way.
Please pray that the
Lord will use this time to refresh and strengthen His body, bringing us more
into His will for His glory.
In Christ,
Mark & Carole Kroll
